In Loving Memory of Eleanor Nuwagaba Aluku
It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, relative, and friend, Eleanor Nuwagaba Aluku, who departed this life on 29th June 2026 at the Uganda Cancer Institute, Mulago.
Eleanor Nuwagaba Aluku was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by love, faith, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Her kindness, wisdom, and nurturing spirit touched countless lives, leaving behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the legacy she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
On behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Aluke Charles and the entire family, we humbly invite relatives, friends, neighbors, church members, and well-wishers to join us in honoring her life and paying their final respects.
Funeral Arrangements
The family has organized the following tentative program for the final farewell:
Departure for Gulu
The body will depart for Gulu City at approximately 12:00 PM.
Funeral and Church Service
A funeral service will be held at Kanyagoga Cell B, Kanyagoga Parish, Bar-dege Layibi Division, Gulu City, followed by a church service at Kanyagoga God’s Will Church, where family and friends will gather in prayer, remembrance, and thanksgiving for a life well lived.
Burial Service
The burial ceremony will take place at the family’s ancestral home, beginning at approximately 2:00 PM, where final rites will be conducted in the presence of family, friends, and well-wishers.
A Tribute of Love
As we mourn the loss of Eleanor Nuwagaba Aluku, we also celebrate a life that brought joy, guidance, and strength to many. Her memory will remain a treasured blessing, and her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
