A Life of Grace and StrengthBorn in 1947, Imelda’s life was shaped by humility, hard work, and faith. She grew to become not just a mother to her own children, but a mother figure to many others who found refuge in her kindness. Her home was always open, her words were always soft yet wise, and her heart remained full of compassion. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, no matter their background, and to speak peace into situations where others saw no hope.Imelda’s presence was a steady light. She carried herself with dignity and warmth, drawing people in with her calm spirit and reassuring smile. She was a woman of deep faith, and her life reflected her love for God and her community.

A pillar of his family and a beacon of service to his community, Kikomeko Deziderio’s life was marked by humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of those around him.

A Life of Service

Born in 1956, Kikomeko began his early education at Galiraya Primary School. He would later dedicate most of his adult life to public service and community leadership:

• Chairman, LC1 – Galiraya Village (1986–2025), faithfully serving his community for nearly four decades.
• Chairman, Health Management Committee – Galiraya Health Centre III
• Treasurer, Kawango Cooperative Society

His leadership was grounded in compassion, fairness, and wisdom, making him a father figure not just in his home, but throughout the wider Galiraya community.

We remember Kikomeko Deziderio not only for his roles and titles, but for the love he gave, the peace he stood for, and the legacy of honor he leaves behind.

Celebrating the Life of Salongo Nkubuge David (1958–2025)

Miles Funeral Services, on behalf of the family of the late Salongo Nkubuge David, with heartfelt sorrow, announces his passing on 28th July 2025, at the age of 67.

Born on 27th July 1958, Salongo David Nkubuge lived a remarkable life marked by commitment, humility, and unwavering integrity. A seasoned Mechanical Engineer, he dedicated 36 years of his life to public service at the Uganda Cooperative Transport Union (UCTU), where he left an indelible legacy of professionalism and mentorship.

Salongo David was a proud husband to six wives and a loving father to seventeen children, a family man whose dedication extended beyond his household to everyone who crossed his path. He was a man of quiet strength and steadfast faith, whose presence brought calm, wisdom, and resolve in all situations.

The funeral service was filled with warmth, scripture, and hymns that celebrated a life well lived. The verses that guided the service — notably 2 Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith…” — perfectly captured the spirit of Salongo David’s life.

Born in 1973, Robert pursued his education passionately, attending:

• Law Development Centre (LDC) – Certificate in Administration

He was a devoted husband to Muzaki Hellen and a proud father to three wonderful children:

Professionally, Robert was a beacon in the field of communication and public service. He served with excellence as:

We honor the remarkable life of Kibumba Asukanazi Balabyeki Ededan, who was born on 8th April 1931 and peacefully passed on 1st January 2025.

Work History:
From 1949 to 1986, Kibumba dedicated 35 years of his life working with the British American Tobacco (BAT) company, leaving a legacy of hard work and integrity.

Family:
He was a devoted husband to Lovisa Balabyeki and a loving father to 15 children, including:
Beautrice, Nanteza, Debotah, Rebecca, Moses, Ntebwa, Grace, Damali, Godfrey, Micheal, and the late Besi, Musisi, Babirye, and Dorothy.
He also leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, whose lives he profoundly impacted.

A Life Well Lived:
Kibumba’s life was a testament to dedication, love, and resilience. His legacy will continue to inspire generations.

The body is currently in Ishaka at Kampala International University (KIU). On 3rd January 2025, it will depart from KIU at 2:00 PM for a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Following the service, the body will proceed to his home for a vigil.

Funeral Arrangements: Margaret will be laid to rest on Friday, December 8, 2024, in Bunamwaya.
